Prashant Gandhi is the co-founder and Vice President of Product Marketing & Strategy at Rohati Systems, Inc.

Before joining Rohati, Prashant was at Cisco Systems primarily in the Cat6K and Data Center business units. While at Cisco, he was involved in multiple strategic initiatives including Nexus 7000, Nexus 1000v, Cat6K Virtual Switch System, EARL8 forwarding engine, TrustSec, Data Center Ethernet (DCE), L2-7 virtualization, XML web services, L4-7 (deep packet) forwarding engine, Metro Ethernet, Ethernet DSLAM, IPTV and IP Gaming;

Prashant began his career as an Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty member at Villanova University and subsequently held technical positions at Intel, Digital Equipment Corporation and Texas Instruments. He holds a B.S.E.E. from the University of Maryland, M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, and has contributed to nearly 60 technical papers and 20 patents.
